Regular price $29.99 CAD

Maple Valley is made with 100% post-consumer recycled paper, with the bulk of the pulp coming from the mid-western United States. It first appears a pale amber color and over time will darken to sienna similar to an old fir floor.
Subtle layers will be visible as a “grain” on the face of a radiused fingerboard in color.
Dimensions: 27" x 2.75" x 0.3125"(686 x 70 x 8mm)

Low maintenance, minimal shrinkage, and a density that is right in the middle of the range for ebony, there are only advantages to using Black Diamond Richlite on your guitar.

  • Acoustically superior and consistent density
  • Moisture acclimated and inherently stable
  • Durable while maintaining an ebony look and feel
  • Hand made in the U.S.A. and FSC® Certified
  • Impact resistance and span superior to wood products
  • Machines with standard tooling

Two-part water-resistant epoxies formulated for thermoset resins or phenolics are recommended for gluing (most other adhesives will not be appropriate for use with Richlite). We suggest System Three T-88 for structural bonding. Loctite E-30CL or Devcon DEV-20845 5-minute epoxy is also acceptable.
Make sure the joint gluing surfaces are roughed-up, 100 grit or less, for better glue adhesion. Do not over-tighten clamps to keep enough glue in the seam.
