ZipFlex Purfling, Mother of Pearl

ZipFlex makes it easy to install beautiful purfling that bends to any curve, thanks to its flexible base.
Mother of Pearl ZipFlex is made from real shell.
Size: each strip measures 15” in length, and is .055” thick (.050” shell thickness + .005” substrate thickness); .079” wide.
Mother-of-Pearl is an iridescent, radiant white.

When gluing these, use the thinnest viscosity cyanoacrylate (superglue) you can find. Seal the edges of your inlay channel with vinyl or lacquer sealer before applying the glue to prevent glue from wicking into the end grain of your project surface.
